Today's Progress

I am very happy with what I've been able to achieve today. I started this morning on the laser cutter and although it wasn't my first time, it was my first time without Joh's guidance, and I hadn't imagined how much I'd have to learn again! But, it worked, I caused no fires! And I am already booked on for next week too.
These are my two designs I cut today. One vinyl and one wadding. Both very different so I had to play around to find the right settings.

Next I went over to dye some organza to match the colour of the polyester wadding. 

And finally, the last stage of printing for this fabric, I printed on my design in black foil. I really like the end result and am now really scared to quilt it because this could ruin it all!
