It's strange how you can be so inspired by an exhibition. I should go to more than I do. John Craxton's work made me happy. The colour is electric. And how my mind is already racing with ideas to recreate in textile techniques within seconds... These were my favourites:
This technique <3 painted out the solid background leaving delicate markings and textured brush strokes.
Dash dash dot. Continuous lines and the spectrum of colour when close up.
Neon outlines. The hands, chair and shrimp.
I really want to be part of an exhibition. Tracking down amazing pieces of art and showing them off!
